Chad found it interesting the amount of tunnels that they have here in Norway, Throughout the city of Oslo, we drovew through 8 tunnels.
We arrived at the Aagesen's home shortly after 6:00. We sat and had a short visit because the sun had come out and Magnus, Cathrine and Aleks wanted to treat us to a visit to what is called the The World's End. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would see such a beautiful sight. This is a harbour with many rock formations that you can walk out onto. It is an absolutely breathtaking sight.
We all enjoyed walking along these rocks and it of course became quite an adventure for the kids.
Cathrine also encouraged the kids to swim with her and Aleks in the sea.
Of course this trip did not go on without an incident. Prior to the above picture above being taken, Tailor slipped and fell quite had on a rock. She had a couple of small cuts but seemed fine otherwise.
Magnus and Tessa were content to sit and watch the swimmers.
Once they finished their swim, they decided to hunt for some sea urchents. Once again, just after getting out of the water Tailor slipped again-only this time she did a real number on her knee. And of course, it bled like a stuck pig but she still continued on her hunting adventure.
Once they finished their hunting, we headed back towards the harbour where we had to find a boater that could offer us bandages for the bleeding one. By this point, her leg was completely covered in blood and the man was sure we would have to see a doctor. Thank goodness once it was cleaned up, we realized the cuts were not that deep-it just continued to bleed because of her ITP.
We made our way back to the vehicle and saw this ship with one of the greatest international symbols on it.
We headed back to the Aagesen house for supper. Cathrine made us all man-up and eat shrimp(that we had to peel) and salmon, it was very good and we all tried it. We were also treated to chicken from Cathrine's sons chicken farm-it too was very tasty. Another great night on our fabulous holiday!
