Taking the big leap!

This morning started out with a great breakfast-bacon, eggs and toast. We had the pleasure of eating with Esther the dog. Esther is a Gordon Setter. She was a lovely breakfast companion. Now truthfully, Esther joined us after breakfast to have her picture taken-her and her daughter Avor are the Stenis family dogs. Esther had Avor's litter 2 years ago-she had 13 puppies!

After breakfast we headed for the cottage which is about 40 kms away. They have a jumping platform there, with the highest level being 10 m(30 feet). Tucker had promised the day before that he would jump from this level.

In true Tucker fashion-he baled! With some serious persuasion from Inez, Tucker finally jumped from the 10 foot platform. Tailor had jumped earlier from the 15 foot platform and Chad also jumped from the 15 foot platform.

Once everybody had jumped(except me), we headed back up to the cottage for lunch. We were treated to a hot dog with potato salad lunch with roasted marshmallows for dessert. Our hot dogs were cooked on an open fire so the kids of course had to have marshmallows.
Tailor and Tucker went for a canoe ride and ended up racing Johan. Johan won of course.

While the kids canoed we stayed up at the cottage and visited. Avor needed a snuggle from her dad. Asa(pronounced Osa), Inez and Nellie are fabulous hostesses and we are really enjoying our time here with them.

We went to the festival in Orsa later on in the evening and listened to music. The people there were certainly up for a party and some treated up to a musical special of our own.

I am going to post pictures on Facebook as posting everything on here is very time consuming.
