Our first full day

Our day started out with a continental breakfast at our hotel, which had some interesting food in it. Cavier, liver pate, cold meats and a couple of different types of cheese were amongst some of the choices. We of course stuck to eggs, toast, bacon and pancakes.

We then headed over to Avis to get our medium size car-lol. The reason I laugh is that the first car we had was a pretty tight fit for the big Campbell boys. Thankfully, the company was willing to give us a little bigger car for no extra money. Once we finished there we headed down to Mora which is about 3 hours northeast of Stockholm.

We arrived in Mora shortly after 2:00, being greeted by the whole Stenis family. We are so lucky to be connected to this great family. Shortly after having juice and treats we went for a tour of the Anders Zorn house. Anders was a famous author from Mora who became a millionaire in his time. I managed to get a couple of pictures of this house before I was told no photos could be taken.

Once we finished our tour of the Zorn house we took a little walk through Mora. We then headed back to Johan's home where Asa had made us a nice pasta supper, with moose meat in the sauce. It was a very good meal and we had lots of laughs with the Stenis's. After dinner we had to play some Kube. This is a game that was introduced to us in Canada by a teacher at my school and it is a Swedish game.

We finished the day off with a fun swim time where the kids enjoyed a high diving board, a water slide and sitting in the hot tub chatting. We are so thankful for the time we are having here, considering how close we were to not coming at all! I should also mention the temperature here is only 24 which is obviously much more comfortable than at home!
